Understanding the Costs

There are two key cost areas to consider:

HubSpot Licence Fees
These are paid directly to HubSpot and depend on:

  • The Hubs you choose (Sales, Marketing, Service, etc.)

  • The tier of each hub (Starter, Pro, Enterprise)

  • The number of seats (for Sales and Service)

  • The marketing contacts you want to send emails to


Implementation & Onboarding
This is the one-off fee for setting HubSpot up properly. We offer fast, focused implementations tailored to your goals..

Hubs, Seats & Modular Buying

 

Each HubSpot Hub is modular — you can pick and choose based on what you need:

  • Sales Hub — great for pipelines, forecasting, task automation, sequences

  • Marketing Hub — for email, landing pages, forms, workflows

  • Service Hub — support tickets, knowledge base, customer feedback

  • Operations Hub — advanced integrations and data sync

  • CMS Hub — HubSpot-hosted websites and content

 

Seat pricing tip:

Sales and Service Hubs charge per paid user seat — so only assign paid seats to users who need access to core tools (like deal automation or reporting). Everyone else needs a Core seat (also paid) or a free view only seat.

Before You Buy: Validate First

Don’t rush into a tier just because of the sales pitch.

  • Each hub tier adds features — but not everyone needs Pro or Enterprise right away.

  • Start with what you need, and upgrade later. It’s far easier to upgrade than to downgrade.

CRM Contacts vs Marketing Contacts

 

This one catches a lot of people out.

  • CRM Contacts: Stored in HubSpot. No cost, unlimited.

  • Marketing Contacts: These are the people you send marketing emails to, and you pay in blocks (e.g., 1,000, 5,000, etc.)

You only want to pay for the contacts you actively market to. We’ll help you segment your data properly to avoid overspending.
